 In September 2007, Georgina Anderson was announced the Federal Liberal Candidate for Sydney.
Georgina has two distinct careers being a mortgage broker and an actor.
As a mortgage broker, Georgina is the principal of Veritas Lending in
Sydney’s CBD specialising in financial solutions for individuals and
businesses. She has a Bachelor of Economics from the University
of Sydney, is accredited with over 30 lending institutions and is a
member of:
- PLAN Australia, one of Australia’s largest mortgage aggregators
with minimum nationally recognised education standards for membership;
- Mortgage & Finance Association Australia (MFAA);
- Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL), and
- Senior Australians Equity Release Association of Lenders (SEQUAL)
As an actor, Georgina trained and performed in New York and stars in a
number of local TV commercials. Recent Australian theatrical work
includes Agatha Christie’s “The Hollow” at Sydney’s Genesian Theatre,
“The Negotiation Table” at the Peninsula Theatre and her acclaimed
performance in “She Males from Outer Space”.
Current and recent TV commercials include Goo Goo Ga Ga Day,
Commonwealth Bank, KFC, Fantastic Furniture, Mitsubishi, Canon,
Listerine and 2UE.
Georgina has also made numerous appearances in Australian television shows such as All Saints, Home and Away and CNNNN.
Georgina has been a long standing Liberal supporter and is a member of
the East Sydney Branch. Her father was an independent (Liberal
aligned) councillor for four years and she was a key member of the
Edward Mandla for Sydney state campaign in 2007.
In addition, Georgina is a World Youth Day Randwick committee member
helping to sponsor poor Oceania children to participate in this special
event in July 2008.
